Are you an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Service Manager
who can step into a complex service and make an immediate impact? This is a high-profile leadership opportunity reporting directly to the Head of Public Protection & Enforcement, with responsibility for leading ASB, enforcement and community safety functions, managing a team of up to 8 direct reports and overseeing critical performance, compliance and service improvement activity.
You will be joining at a pivotal time, with a strong focus on Housing Regulator compliance, performance management and ensuring that resident experience aligns with the service outcomes being reported. This role requires a visible leader with credibility, resilience and the ability to hold teams to account while supporting the Head of Service with strategic and operational delivery. There is little time for onboarding, so you will need to be confident, knowledgeable and capable of hitting the ground running from day one.
Your Role as ASB Service Manager:- Lead borough-wide ASB, enforcement and community safety services
, ensuring effective operational delivery across housing and corporate ASB functions - Drive performance management
, workload allocation and data-led service improvement, producing clear insight and meaningful reporting - Ensure compliance with Housing Regulator requirements
, TSM reporting, audit readiness and regulatory submissions - Provide strategic oversight of high-risk and complex ASB cases
, ensuring robust risk management and legal compliance - Support the Head of Service through presentations, briefings and performance reporting
, providing challenge, accountability and recommendations
- Extensive experience managing or leading an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) service, predominantly around housing stock
- Significant leadership experience within ASB, housing, community safety or enforcement services
- Strong knowledge of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and wider regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to analyse complex performance data
, develop operational strategies and present findings to senior stakeholders - Experience managing teams, officer workloads and delivering high-performance cultures in demanding environments
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence Members, partners and senior leaders
This Service Manager, Anti-Social Behaviour Team role requires a strong on-site presence, with the successful Manager expected to work on-site 3-4 days per week initially. A driving licence is essential and a pool vehicle is available where required.
