Need a new challenge for the new year. We are recruiting for Goods in Mechanical Inspector – near Uxbridge – Must have your own transport due to the location of the factory

• Up to £42,000 per year Plus overtime
• 37.5 hours per week
• Mon to Fri – between 8am to 5pm early finish on Friday 12 midday

Our client design and manufacture life‑saving ejection seats for the world’s most advanced military aircraft.

As a Mechanical Inspector, you’ll be at the heart of our Inspection team, ensuring every part meets the highest aerospace standards:

• Inspect components using Mitutoyo CMMs (GEOPAK), Hexagon Absolute Arm, and laser scanning
• Perform dimensional checks with hand tools:
  Height Gauges, Bore Micrometers, DTIs, and more
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation, including SAP updates
• Track component batches through manufacturing and log non-conforming products
• Follow QA instructions, SOPs, and technical specifications
• Contribute to Lean initiatives and 5S activities

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings
• Skilled with CMMs, laser scanning, and inspection hand tools
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a team‑player attitude
