NDT Level 2 Technician
Location:
10 minutes from Uxbridge, Middlesex
Salary:
Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours:
37 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician to join a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing business based near Uxbridge.
This role sits within a specialist Inspection department and is responsible for carrying out non‑destructive testing and product verification of safety‑critical components.
This position is suited to candidates who hold current Level 2 certification (PCN or NAS 410) and have worked within an aerospace or high‑specification manufacturing environment.

As NDT Level 2 Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of NDT processes in line with technical specifications and quality procedures.
Duties include:- Carrying out non‑destructive testing (NDT) of materials in accordance with Company and regulatory standards
- Assembly of test items in line with procedures and drawings
- Monitoring shielding levels within radiographic facilities to ensure compliance with national safety levels
- Completing chemical testing of DPI / MPI processes to ensure materials and facilities operate safely and efficiently
- Generating and maintaining inspection and test documentation
- Interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications and process requirements
- Using SAP to record work in progress and track component batches
- Ensuring all relevant Health & Safety regulations, COSHH assessments and safety procedures are adhered to
- Supporting Lean initiatives including 5S and continuous improvement
To be considered, you must have:
- Level 2 Certification (PCN or NAS 410) – current and maintained
- Aerospace testing background
- Experience with in production manufacturing
- Certification in Control of Explosives Regulations
- Experience operating computerised inspection systems
- Experience using inspection tools
- Basic PC and SAP skills
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures
