Salary: £35,593.68with 9% company-paid pension and an excellent benefits package.
We have a brand new vacancy for a Finishing Operative.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on precision metal finishing processes, primarily anodising, contributing to the manufacture of life-saving equipment.
- Operating manual and automated anodising equipment.
- Masking components to protect bores, holes and slots from abrasive media.
- Operating barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing equipment.
- Carrying out surface preparation processes, including passivation and phosphating.
- Undertaking inspection of finished components to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Following health and safety procedures, quality standards and COSHH regulations.

- Experience working with process chemicals in an anodising or metal finishing environment.
- A basic manufacturing or engineering background.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures, quality assurance instructions and COSHH regulations.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
- A strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
