Pay: Approximately £14.24 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, and Flexible Shifts Available

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Housing Support Assistant to join our team in Uxbridge. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals in maintaining stable accommodation, developing independent living skills, and improving their overall wellbeing.

As a Housing Support Assistant, you will provide practical and emotional support to residents, helping them sustain their tenancies and work towards greater independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred housing-related support to individuals with a range of needs.
  • Assist residents with developing independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing household responsibilities.
  • Support service users to access healthcare, benefits, employment, education, and community services.
  • Help residents maintain their accommodation and comply with tenancy agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records, support plans, and case notes.
  • Work closely with housing providers, local authorities, and partner agencies.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
  • Respond appropriately to welfare concerns and follow organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in housing support, homelessness services, social care, or a similar support role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, empathetic, and professional approach.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), where applicable.
