I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join one of the UK's leading food wholesalers. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, organised and personable leader to make a real impact as the company undergo an exciting expansion!

As the Transport Supervisor you will oversee the day-today transport operations ensuring compliance, safety and efficiency. You will manage a team of drivers and oversee fleet maintenance.

This is primarily a night shift role, working Sunday to Friday from 11pm to 6am, with the potential to transition to day shifts as you develop within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure transport, warehouse, and food safety standards are met
Manage vehicle fleet, including MOTs, servicing, and temperature control checks
Oversee driver compliance, checks, and documentation
Lead training, recruitment, and disciplinary processes for new staff
Drive continuous improvement in operations

About You:

Experienced in a fast-moving transport environment
Strong people management and leadership skills
Highly organised with excellent problem-solving abilities
HGV licence is desirable
Confident, personable, and able to motivate a team
