Registered Nurse School - Uxbridge, MA

This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week for the entire academic year, providing vital nursing support across multiple school sites within the district. As a Float RN, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety and well-being of students and staff, adapting to various school environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong assessment, triage, and crisis intervention abilities
• Flexibility to travel between schools as needed
• Up-to-date certifications in CPR and First Aid
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs

• Deliver direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff
• Monitor student health plans, medications, and chronic condition management
• Respond to emergencies, administer treatments, and communicate with families
• Liaise with educators, counselors, and parents to ensure a safe, healthy school environment
• Conduct screenings, immunization record reviews, and health education initiatives
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with school policies
• Serve as a health resource and advocate within the school community
