Pharmacy Supervisor (Full Time, Day)

At North Bay Health the Pharmacy Supervisor works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Director with responsibility for the quality of pharmaceutical services provided, effective utilization of pharmacy personnel, and compliance with corporate and hospital policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations regarding pharmacy practices. The role assists in the development and maintenance of all professional, dispensing, and manufacturing policies and procedures and activities for the inpatient pharmacy, and assists in fiscal planning with departmental budgets.

Education
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

    D), or BS in pharmacy
Licensure
  • California Board of Pharmacy License
Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting and/or completion of an ASHP‑accredited residency program.
Skills
  • Ability to apply current principles of pharmacy, pharmacology, and pharmacokinetics in the interpretation, filling and dispensing of medications.
  • Ability to instruct and supervise professional and non‑professional personnel.
  • Ability to coach and manage a diverse staff of professionals and para‑professionals.
Interpersonal Skills

Hours Of Work
  • Days:
    Monday through Friday. May be required to work weekends and evenings as part of the rotation.
Compensation
  • Hourly Salary Range:
    Min $99.25 – Max $120.65 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
