The Paint Prepper assists the Painter in the refinishing process and must have experience in the auto body collision repair industry.

• Prepare vehicle and parts for painting using proper techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from vehicle surfaces.
• Apply paper and masking tape to protect non-painted surfaces.
• Assist with refinish operations and priming as needed.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and work spaces; keep the paint area, prep station, paint booth, paint storage, and paint mixing area clean.
• Store refinish products as directed and help with general paint booth maintenance.
• Utilize required safety equipment and follow OSHA safety guidelines; handle and dispose hazardous waste properly.
• Complete assigned training through Collision University; additional internal and partner-supported training may be necessary.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet team objectives.
• Self‑motivated.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing and able to pass a thorough background check.

• 1‑year automotive paint prep experience.
