Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California requiring a current CA RN license and advanced neonatal resuscitation skills.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
- Care for laboring patients and high-risk obstetric cases
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Provide nursing care for laboring mothers, including high-risk OB management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary perinatal team
- Comply with hospital guidelines for dress code and shift scheduling
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Tenure policy prohibits working more than two years in total without a 90-day break
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Preferred: BSN or related degree
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
- Preferred: 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and DOB for consideration
