Location:
321 Nut Tree Rd, Vacaville, CA. Approx. 1,300 boutiques and outlets across the U.S. require sophisticated technology, resources, and infrastructure to ensure continued success.
The Assistant Store Manager primarily supports the store manager in managing sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources functions to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability.
Functional Responsibilities- Prepares weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines; reviews time sheets and payroll documentation for accuracy.
- Promotes customer service by ensuring associates greet and assist customers; responds to inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Supervises associates in sales, inventory receipt, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
- Models sales expectations, communicates product knowledge, recommends merchandise, and assists customers in locating products.
- Maintains a visually appealing store, ensuring proper housekeeping, visual merchandising, and organization.
- Trains associates on visual merchandising techniques to ensure the store is always maintained.
- Monitors associate sales activities and productivity; acknowledges performance and motivates associates to achieve full potential.
- Performs financial activities effectively, including cash handling, reporting, price changes, and merchandise handling.
- Administers operational processes including inventory receipt/dispatch, daily replenishment, and physical inventories.
- Facilitates general operations, ensuring the store is in working order and adequately maintained for safe and efficient operations.
- Supports compliance with laws, loss prevention policies, operating procedures, and controls; conducts associate training as needed.
- Assists in recruiting, hiring, and developing store associates; interprets KPI reports and provides coaching; gives feedback to Store Manager for performance appraisals.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Minimum 3 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to travel to stores throughout the district.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
- Physical ability to operate register, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb, reach, push/pull merchandise.
- Regular attendance essential.
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The wage range is $20.90 - $26.10 per hour, determined based on qualifications.
