As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our local Walmart store, you will execute routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, and fixtures. Operating under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you will adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.

We are looking for an energetic team player with strong technical skills to join our fast-paced and welcoming environment.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment and other crafts.
• Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.
• Can move up and down ladders frequently.
• Comfortable working at heights frequently.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work in various temperatures.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical trade program.
• License in related trade in the city and/or state where job is located.
• Intermediate level proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Individual compensation packages based on skill set, experience, level of job offer, and other factors.
