Interventional radiologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiologist to perform minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide advanced patient care across vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform image-guided procedures using ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy
Conduct vascular interventions (angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis)
Perform non-vascular procedures (biopsies, drain placements, ablations, nephrostomy, biliary interventions)
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound)
Manage pre- and post-procedure patient care
Handle emergency interventional procedures (trauma, bleeding control)
Maintain detailed procedure documentation and patient records
Ensure radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings

Qualifications & Requirements

MD/DNB in Radiology
Fellowship/DM in Interventional Radiology (preferred)
Valid medical license to practice
Proven experience in performing interventional radiology procedures
Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and radiation safety
Ability to work in high-pressure and emergency settings

Preferred Skills

Expertise in minimally invasive vascular procedures

Experience with advanced imaging software and PACS systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient-centered care

Work Environment

Multi-specialty Hospital / Diagnostic & Interventional Center
On-call duties may be required
Exposure to emergency and trauma cases
