Parul University invites applications for two Faculty Positions in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in alignment with UGC Guidelines and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The roles involve designing, integrating, and teaching IKS-based courses across UG and PG programs; developing syllabi and academic resources; conducting faculty training and sensitization programs; coordinating IKS implementation across faculties; and supporting research, events, and institutional IKS initiatives Applicants should possess a PhD in relevant disciplines such as Sanskrit, Philosophy, Indology, Ayurveda, Indian Culture, Traditional Sciences, Humanities, or allied areas, along with a strong academic background or demonstrated interest in IKS.
Experience in teaching, curriculum development, training, academic coordination, or research will be an added advantage. Interested candidates should email their CV, Statement of Interest, and supporting documents.

These roles will play a key part in integrating Indian Knowledge Systems across the university curriculum, training ecosystem, and academic practices.
Role Overview
The roles involve designing, integrating, and teaching IKS-based courses across UG and PG programs; developing syllabi and academic resources; conducting faculty training and sensitization programs; coordinating IKS implementation across faculties; and supporting research, events, and institutional IKS initiatives.
Who Can Apply?
- A PhD in a relevant discipline such as Sanskrit, Philosophy, Indology, Ayurveda, Indian Culture, Traditional Sciences, Humanities, or allied domains, as per UGC norms.
- A strong academic background and/or demonstrated interest and work in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS)
- Experience in teaching, curriculum development, training, academic coordination, or research will be an added advantage
Desired Skills
- Understanding of NEP 2020 & UGC IKS Guidelines
- Strong communication, coordination & documentation skills
