Role Description  The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara at Baroda Institute of Technology. In this position, the counselor will guide prospective learners through the admissions process, provide detailed information on programs and certifications, and address inquiries via in-person meetings, phone calls, email, and digital channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining eligibility and course structures, maintaining accurate applicant records, and following up with leads to support enrollment targets.

The role also involves coordinating with academic and administrative teams, participating in outreach activities and events, and contributing to a positive and inclusive experience for all applicants.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to engage effectively with diverse prospective learners and families.
Candidates should possess customer service skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and ensure a supportive admissions experience.
Candidates should possess sales skills to convert leads into enrollments ethically, explain program value, and meet admissions targets.
Candidates should possess an understanding of the education domain, including academic programs, career pathways, and student support needs.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in admissions or counseling, proficiency with CRM or student information systems, strong organizational and time management abilities, and comfort working with digital communication tools.
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with preference for education, management, or related fields, is highly desirable.
