Medical Data Analyst
Job Responsibilities
Document Review & Analysis
- Review medical and non-medical documents submitted by students, including but not limited to:
- CPR Certification
- HIPAA and OSHA Training Certificates
- Driver’s License
- School-specific forms
- Background checks and Drug screening reports
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of each document with university-specific guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Compare uploaded documents against criteria provided to determine appropriate status:
Approved, Disapproved, or Requires Additional Information.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students regarding disapproved or incomplete documentation, citing specific deficiencies and next steps.
Team Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership to support a high-functioning, accurate, and timely review process.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement by proactively updating personal knowledge base and sharing updates with the team.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with team leads regarding exceptions or documents requiring special attention.
Accountability & Quality
- Complete assigned reviews with high levels of accuracy, ensuring adherence to turnaround time (TAT) expectations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable compliance standards.
- Ensure consistent adherence to internal procedures, audit readiness, and quality control guidelines.
- Demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and self-sufficiency in daily tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Medical, Health Sciences, or Pharmaceutical discipline.
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written) with strong communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of computers, online platforms, and document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret medical documentation requirements.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as per business needs.
- Standard shift: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
