This Position:

Need a hybrid profile who can work closely with both Finance and IT. This role ensures Finance gets the right system support and reporting, without depending on IT for every detail. The person must combine finance knowledge, IT technical expertise, and reporting competence, with strong communication skills to bridge gaps between teams.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to translate Finance requirements into technical inputs for IT and vice versa
- Strong Power BI skills (dashboards, data modelling, DAX, SQL)
- Adaptable, comfortable in cross-functional teams and new implementations
- Conduct in-depth impact analysis for proposed changes in SAP, Sage, and other enterprise finance solutions.
- Oversee functional and technical testing, user acceptance testing, and documentation.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP and Sage finance modules and advise on integration best practices.
- Coordinate project delivery, escalation management, and ensure timely implementation.
- Support end-users in troubleshooting, training, and process adoption.
- Maintain compliance with business processes, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
- Engage in cross-functional meetings and advocate for effective solution delivery.

Qualifications

- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- IT/technical background (not purely finance)
- 3–5 years of experience in a cross-functional role between Finance and IT
- Hands-on experience with ERP finance modules (SAP, SAGE, Oracle, or similar)
- SQL working knowledge
- Prior experience in a mid-sized company handling end-to-end reporting
- Knowledge of finance processes (AP/AR/GL/ERP workflows etc.)
- Proven track record in requirements gathering, process documentation, and translation of functional needs into technical solutions
- Strong analytical/problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Certification in SAP/Sage preferred
- Knowledge of Indian and/or US finance regulatory requirements preferred
