Accounting Manager
Our client, a rapidly growing and expanding organization, has engaged us to help them find their next dynamic Accounting Manager. This is a highly visible role supporting a fast-paced, operationally complex business with meaningful transaction volume and multiple stakeholders.
The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This individual will partner closely with leadership and operations, bringing structure, discipline, and continuous improvement to the accounting function as the organization scales.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForOverseeing core accounting operations, including the full monthly close process
Managing high-volume financial activity with a strong focus on accuracy and controls
Preparing and reviewing financial reports to support internal decision-making
Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies
Supporting timely disbursement of funds to external stakeholders
Maintaining the general ledger and overseeing AP/AR activity
Partnering cross-functionally to resolve accounting questions and improve processes
Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance systems as the business grows
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA a plus)
2+yearsof progressive accounting experience in a fast-moving environment
Experience supporting operationally driven or transaction-heavy businesses preferred
Strong Excel skills and comfort working within accounting and operational systems
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Clear communicator who can work effectively with both internal and external partners
