What you will need:Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience as an anesthesiologist, required.
- Skilled at epidurals, spinals and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, required.
- Experience in supervisory position, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, preferred.
- Team player, preferred.
- Board certified in anesthesiology.
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft programs like Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint is required.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
Education:- Doctor of Medicine degree with anesthesiology residency, required.
The Hospitalist is responsible for clinical management of Vail Health patients. Responsibilities include managing hospital care, consulting in the emergency department, working with clinical teams, and ensuring quality and compliance in care delivery.
What you will need:- Completion or pending completion of Internal Medicine residency.
- Clinical experience in a hospitalist position preferred but not required.
- A license to practice medicine in Colorado.
- Current DEA registration number.
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- BLS/ACLS certification by American Heart Association, required.

Pay is based on education and experience, ranging from $450,000 to $550,000 USD per year.
