Front Desk Overnight Relief Supervisor PT/FT
Four Seasons Resort & Residences Vail is seeking an experienced Front Desk Overnight Relief Supervisor to oversee front office staff during overnight and daytime shifts, ensuring exceptional guest and employee experiences.
About the RoleThe Front Desk Overnight Relief Supervisor will oversee staff during overnight shifts and coordinate with daytime staff as needed. The role involves ensuring guest satisfaction, managing operations, and maintaining safety and security standards. Working four days per week for ten hours per day, the supervisor works closely with all departments to meet service standards and company policies.
What you will do- Supervise front office activities during day and overnight shifts, providing training and feedback to the team.
- Communicate and follow up with the day shift on any issues, guest requests, or special requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints and interact with guests in a professional manner, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
- Review arrival and departure schedules to plan for the next day’s activities, coordinate room blocks, and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all financial and credit procedures are followed.
- Act promptly in all safety, security, and emergency situations without needing special direction.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring correct room assignment, rate, and key handling, and process settlements accurately.
- Use computer systems for check‑in/out, daily reports, night audit, and room blocking.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and the EmPact Standards of Conduct.
- Collaborate with co‑workers, supervisors, Bell Staff, Security, and Engineering on guest requests and emergencies.
- Assist with additional responsibilities as required throughout the hotel.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role; experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel operating systems, with Opera experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and multitasking skills in a high‑volume environment.
- Problem‑solving ability and composure in difficult situations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills; the role requires direct guest contact.
- Fluency in English;
Spanish is a plus. - Current U.S. work authorization required.
