WSP is looking for an Electrical Technician to aid in the design and specification of electrical systems within its Resources division. You will engage with engineers on projects, participating in preparation of technical documents and on-site commissioning efforts. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively will be key to ensuring project timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on plans and specifications for projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs to support delivery
• Assist in preparing technical specifications for projects
• Conduct site visits to gather technical data
• Provide ongoing technical support throughout project execution
Requirements:
• College diploma in electrical engineering technology/instrumentation
• Experience in technical design within industry (asset)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver’s license
