Job Overview
The Radiology/CT technologist performs all clinical tests listed in the radiology methods manual with thorough understanding of Quality Control limits, reporting, etc., and takes an active role in the responsible operation of the radiology department. Performs computerized tomographic scanner procedures using a variety of radiologic equipment.
Key Responsibilities• Operate and maintain radiology equipment and imaging technology
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures on imaging equipment
• Perform patient positioning and safety procedures for imaging studies
• Document imaging studies and produce study reports
• Collaborate with radiology department staff to ensure high quality patient care
- Graduated from an accredited Radiology Technologist program
- National Registered Technologist – Radiography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire
- 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
