An expanded role for the Certified Nursing Assistant, the Clinical Assistant functions as a member of the nursing staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role focuses on performing functional tasks that maintain the orderliness of the nursing unit and contributes to the overall effective functioning of the clinical area. Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.

Pay Range $21.05 - $31.54 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
