The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates the patient’s condition and develops appropriate therapeutic programs to assist in recovery and treatment. The PT coordinates patient care, directs PT Assistants and Rehab Aides, and consults and communicates with physicians and DPCS. Patient care activities are defined in department policies, procedures, and schedules.

Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.

Pay Range: $49.40 – $76.68 per hour. Benefits include a $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires (subject to payment conditions) and Relocation Assistance for eligible hires (subject to conditions). Shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities may also be available.

• Coursework/Training:
  Graduation from a course of study approved by the Council of Medical Education.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Ph.D. in Physical Therapy
• Upon hire:
  Alaska Physical Therapist License
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

• Previous experience.
