Position Summary
The Nursing Assistant Trainee at Providence Seward Mountain Haven assists with maintaining a clean environment within the Lodge, transporting elders, helping with meal preparation and set‑up, and providing meaningful activities. This trainee position may serve as an elder companion to promote safety when close observation is needed. The role augments dining, housekeeping, and non‑essential nursing functions during peak work times, working directly with elders, families, and staff.
Qualifications- Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association - Preferred: 6 months experience as a nursing aide, nursing assistant, or personal care attendant
