Gideon Constructors, a commercial general contractor headquartered in Valdosta, GA, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position may require travel in the Southeast with per diem provided for the successful candidate.

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other documentation
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
