SummaryThe Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking a detail-oriented Contractor Liaison to support the Georgia Housing Recovery & Rehousing Program (GA HRRP). This position serves as a vital link between construction contractors, project leadership, and administrative teams. The Contractor Liaison will be responsible for tracking contractor assignments, deliverables, monitoring construction costs and schedules, supporting financial documentation processes, and conducting in‑field quality assurance to ensure compliance with safety and program standards.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between project leadership and on‑site contractors.
- Track and maintain real‑time updates on contractor assignments, progress, schedules, and performance.
- Monitor construction costs and timelines to ensure alignment with program budgets and milestones.
- Coordinate with finance and program teams to submit and verify contractor invoices, change orders, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct regular field visits to observe work in progress and ensure quality assurance and safety standards are upheld.
- Assist with contractor onboarding, orientation, and compliance with local, state, and federal program requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of contractor communications, activities, safety reports, and deliverables.
- Escalate issues related to contractor performance, safety violations, or delays to appropriate leadership.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and field teams to streamline communication and resolve field challenges.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, public administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with contractors, construction tracking, or field operations support. Experience in disaster recovery, affordable housing, or government‑funded programs is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple contractors and track concurrent activities.
- Knowledge of construction schedules, estimates, and contract documentation.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and quality assurance best practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and field teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable using project management or tracking systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; proof of insurance may also be required.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
