It operates four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties, along with ambulance services, an extensive medical office network, a cancer center, hospice, retirement center, skilled nursing facilities, imaging centers, and urgent cares. Key service lines include heart and vascular, stroke, trauma, cancer, orthopedics, surgery, and women and infants.
Due to increased demand, SGMC is pleased to offer an exceptional opportunity for a spine and/or cranial-focused general neurosurgeon. Currently, two neurosurgeons provide top-quality healthcare to our community.
Position Description- Full-time, permanent position
- Call is 1:3, including weekend call
- Neurosurgery clinic located on SGMC main campus
- Level III Trauma Center
- Surgical procedures performed on main campus
- Hospital-based employment; shared call; interest in cranial cases preferred

- Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia
- Experience with EPIC is a plus
