Fire Watch​/Helper

Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Fire Watch/Helper to ensure safety and compliance during construction, maintenance, or other industrial activities. This role is essential for monitoring work sites for fire hazards, assisting with safety protocols, and supporting team operations. The ideal candidate will be attentive, reliable, and capable of working in a dynamic environment to prevent fire‑related incidents and promote overall safety.

• Conduct continuous fire watch patrols around work areas to identify potential fire hazards.
• Monitor hot work activities such as welding, cutting, or grinding to ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding safety concerns or incidents.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of work sites, including handling fire extinguishers and safety equipment.
• Document observations and report any unsafe conditions or violations immediately.
• Support other safety‑related tasks as needed to uphold site compliance with fire codes and regulations.

• Prior experience in construction, industrial safety, or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of fire prevention practices and safety protocols is a plus.
• Ability to stay alert for extended periods during night or day shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Good communication skills for effective reporting and teamwork.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform safety checks in various environmental conditions.
