Contributes to the delivery of quality patient care by providing nutrition services (including assessment, modified diet formulation, and nutrition counseling/consultation) for all age groups cared for ists in growth and development of staff and other allied health professionals; assists in management of cost effectiveness of department as evidenced through efficient use of materials and human resources. Maintains an atmosphere which insures SGMC’s values, goals, policies and procedures are consistently supported and enforced.
Knowledge,Skills & Abilities
- Four year college degree in Dietetics or related field of study - ADA approved program.
- Current registered by the American Dietetic Association.
- Current licensed by the State of Georgia as Licensed Dietitian.
- Skillful in verbal and non-verbal communication.
Hazard from constant exposure to patients with potentially contagious diseases. Considerable mental effort, ability to work in confined high stress environment. Able to lift and/or carry objects up to 30 pounds. Moderate amount of standing and walking.
