Schedule: Full Time, 8HR Evening Shift, 3pm to 11pm

This essential role involves creating a respectful, courteous environment for residents while providing personal care and assisting with daily activities. The role focuses on enhancing residents' dignity, self-esteem, and well-being, ensuring quality care in compliance with regulations, and responding compassionately to individual needs.

• Certified Nursing Assistant License required
• CPR & First Aid Certification required
• Recent experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred
• Ability to read, write, perform basic calculations, follow instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible scheduling and adaptability
• Personal health and hygiene maintained
• Annual skills assessment and training
• Proficiency with IPADS, medication tablets, phones, intercoms, calculators, beepers
• Ability to recognize and report patient condition changes
• 16 hours of in-service training required annually

Work primarily in a long-term care setting involving standing, bending, lifting over 50 lbs., pushing, and exposure to blood and bodily fluids. May assist with patient transport. Use of medical and communication equipment is required. Physical capacity is classified as very heavy according to Saunders Method.
