South Georgia and North Florida Eye Partners offers a range of eye care services—including detection, medical treatment of eye diseases and injuries, and advanced procedures such as LASIK and cataract surgeries. We also operate an on‑site optical shop carrying designer frames and sunglasses, with locations in Valdosta, Tifton, Douglas, and Madison.

• Assist physicians and the nurse manager by preparing, maintaining, and anticipating instrument and procedural needs for all surgical procedures.
• Obtain supplies from other areas as needed.
• Return supplies and equipment to appropriate locations.
• Assist in keeping the Central Sterile area neat and orderly.
• Handle health and safety hazards for staff and patients.
• Report any unusual occurrences or incidents accurately to the clinical director.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Assist the surgeon during surgery.

• 0–3 years of experience; must have completed a surgical tech school program.
• Maintains current BLS certification and completes required annual in‑services.
• Ability to work in a surgery‑center environment with patient contact, hazardous chemicals, infectious disease exposure, and moderate noise levels.
• Can understand and follow instructions with speed and accuracy.
• Can organize and prioritize work effectively.
• Possesses manual dexterity, mobility, visual acuity, and stamina for standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and attending.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
