The Radiation Therapist delivers therapeutic radiation under the direction of the radiation oncologist. Provides quality technical care to patients as part of the radiation therapy team and participates in screening patient needs, student education, and quality improvement.

• Graduate of CAHEA approved Radiation Therapy Technology Program or the equivalent.
• Currently registered or registry eligible with the ARRT in Radiation Therapy Technology
• Current healthcare provider CPR required
• Knowledge of geriatric patient care
• Interpersonal relations include other employees, physicians, patients and families, and other health care professionals.
• Ability to organize and react in a high stress environment

Indoors, daytime shift, mostly weekdays, call back standby, subjected to high level of stress. Duties require considerable sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (in excess of 40 pounds), pushing objects (carts, beds, wheelchairs, etc.), and the ability to operate technical and office equipment.
