Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Tiama, part of Kestrel Vision’s Glass Business Unit, is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing professional to own day‑to‑day project execution, quality performance, and operational alignment. This role is onsite at our customer location, where you'll be responsible for ensuring our equipment, systems, and services perform to contract, to standard, and to expectation in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do- Lead on‑site project execution and day‑to‑day operations within a glass manufacturing facility
- Direct and support technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met
- Monitor and improve production KPIs (e.g., pack‑to‑melt, held ware, ramp‑up performance)
- Ensure production readiness, including tooling availability, job setups, system configuration, and documentation
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and quality issues in real time
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both local plant performance and global solution
- Serve as our primary on‑site representative, balancing customer partnership with the confidence to challenge decisions that impact quality, performance, or commercial outcomes
- Communicate progress, risks, and results clearly to internal and customer stakeholders
- Background in manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, capital equipment, or technical services
- Experience in project management, manufacturing operations, or customer‑site technical roles
- Strong understanding of data‑driven manufacturing performance and KPIs
- Ability to lead technical teams in fast‑paced, high‑pressure production environments
- Comfort working within performance‑based or Equipment‑as‑a‑Service (EaaS) models
- Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience
- PMP or similar certification a plus
- Spanish a plus
