Material Handler Helper Job Description
Work Hours – 12-, 10-, or 8-hour shift with occasional work on Weekends (Full-time position).
A Material Handler Helper is responsible for moving and organizing material within a production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery and equipment in production areas.
- Move and organize materials within the production area.
- Maintain a clean and orderly production environment.
- Adhere to company and client policies and procedures.
- Must be able to pass background checks, pre-employment physical and drug screens.
- Able to work 12-, 10- or 8-hour shifts (Days) with occasional work on Weekends.
- Industrial environment (non-climate controlled)
- Good attitude. Team player. Strong customer service skills.
- Physical ability to carry, lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds multiple times per day.
- Physical ability to bend, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Able to wear all the required PPE.
- Coveralls (cotton or fire-resistant)
- Ear plugs
- Full-face respirator (occasionally)
- Gloves
- Hard Hat
- Safety glasses or side shields for people that wear glasses.
- Steel toe shoes
- Additional PPE (Tychem or Tyvek) which would include.
- Apron, Face Shield, Gloves, Sleeves
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be able to pass background checks, pre-employment physical and drug screens.
- Able to work 12-, 10- or 8-hour shifts (Days) with occasional work on Weekends.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Industrial environment (non-climate controlled)
- Good attitude. Team player. Strong customer service skills.
- Must be self-motivated, safety minded and goal oriented.
