Shift Supervisor

The primary responsibility of the Molding Packer is to inspect the product for defects and pack quality product according to work instructions.

• Ensuring my safety and the safety of my co‑workers is a core value and my number one priority.
• Visually inspect product and identify product non‑conformities.
• Pack quality product into boxes, according to customer specifications and Berry quality guidelines.
• Immediately place non‑conforming product into the scrap bins as soon as it is found.
• Read travelers and compare labels for accuracy.
• Prepare packaging in accordance with traveler instructions.
• Repetitive motion work with hands.
• Communicate questions regarding quality with necessary personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Must be able to read the traveler and complete paperwork.
• Pack lids or containers from any assigned machine.
• Knows which supplies are needed each day and where to get them.
• Report any safety concerns or problems to the Group Leader.
• Staff are informed and held accountable for their food safety and regulatory responsibilities.
• Staff are positively encouraged and required to notify management of actual or potential food safety issues.
• Staff are empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work.
• Make boxes, as necessary.

• Lifting Requirements – Ability to lift 35 pounds over head.
• Walking/Standing – Ability to walk and/or stand for 12 hours per day.
• Work Environment – Working near moving mechanical parts.
• Personal Protective Equipment – Safety glasses, ear plugs, bump caps, beard/hair nets, and steel‑toed shoes.

• Assigned 12‑hour schedule.
• Schedule rotates as follows: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, etc.
