Schedule: Full Time, 8‑hour day shift
Job SummaryFacilitates the operations and strategic planning of the Cardiovascular Service Line, aligning the Service Line with the overall goals of the health system to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The role involves managing staff, developing clinical protocols, problem‑solving, organizational development, human resources, physician relations, and patient relations. Develops and manages the department’s budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
Works collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and service delivery, tracks and analyzes quality data and KPIs, and maintains strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A comprehensive understanding of cardiology principles, practices, and technologies is essential. Ensures adequate staffing levels and resources to meet the needs of the Cardiovascular Service Line.

- Master’s in a related field and 5 years of cardiovascular management and leadership experience; MBA, MSN, or MHA preferred.
- Related health‑care certification/licensure required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong physician relations skills, fiscal analysis skills, leadership abilities, and operational skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently, managing change and crisis in a logical manner.
- Comfortable with extensive travel and a matrixed environment.
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (exceeding 50 lbs on occasion), pushing equipment, and transferring patients.
