A thriving small animal practice in Georgia is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to guide its medical team and champion high standards of patient care. This leadership position plays a key role in shaping medical quality, mentoring team members, and ensuring a collaborative and positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted medical leader, promoting collaboration, professionalism, and respect among team members
- Oversee the delivery of exceptional patient care and client communication
- Partner with hospital leadership to develop and uphold medical standards and protocols
- Provide mentorship and support for veterinarians and clinical staff
- Manage a diverse caseload and ensure smooth clinical operations
- Contribute to the professional development of team members through coaching and continuing education
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or equivalent certification)
- Active veterinary license (or eligibility) in the state of Georgia
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
- Commitment to maintaining high‑quality medical standards and a positive team culture
