Maintains highest standards of quality and food safety by monitoring, testing, recording, and reacting on data pertaining to products, production, and process quality. For example, Critical Control Point and Key Performance Indexes verifying raw materials and finished products are in compliance with federal, state, and company specifications, producing accurate results while multitasking in a fast‑paced work environment, anticipating problems or conflicts, and maintaining a proactive approach to business.

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; adapts to change, learns from difficulty and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.

Maintains knowledge of laboratory functions, operations, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair by cross‑training within the Food Safety QA department (access to MSS Validation Coordinator, Sanitation Specialist, Quality Systems Specialist, Micro Technician) and sustaining a calibration program for instruments and equipment in the plant. Utilizes a continuous improvement mindset by assisting to identify and correct opportunities to improve processes, conducting statistical process control and root‑cause analysis, and participating in projects that promote continuous improvement methodologies, Food Safety and Sanitation Quality Management Systems, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Controls, Product Quality, QA/QC.
