Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory. Responsibilities include building customer relations through communication and appointments, maintaining expert knowledge of our product portfolio, and consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory by working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships, develop sales strategies, and implement marketing plans.
  • Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, educational programs, and portfolio changes.
  • Manage new product introductions and cross-sell additional products.
  • Address issues at customer accounts and support organizational compliance and ethics.
  • Receive coaching, maintain training, and stay current on industry trends.
  • Participate in sales meetings and professional events outside regular hours as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Requirements

    Education and Experience
    • Minimum 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
    • Comfortable in open operating room environments.
    • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and operating room protocols.
    • Ability to learn technical information related to surgery and procedures.
    • Prior sales experience is a plus.
    Knowledge and Skills
    • MS Office proficiency.
    • Ability to create effective business plans.
    • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
    • Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, and operate independently.
    • Compliance with all policies and codes of conduct.
    Tools and Equipment
    • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
