Dumpster​/Roll Off Driver - NON CDL - local driving

We are seeking a reliable driver to join our team. The driver will perform driving duties for our roll-off construction dumpster business. The driver will operate single-axle non-CDL trucks. The driver will interact regularly with all contractors, service managers and customers. The driver will also report all issues and concerns requiring attention to the Operations Manager. The driver will be part of a culture fostering teamwork with upward mobility and career advancement available.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Drive safely and within all laws and company regulations as not to do harm to the public, themselves, other property and the equipment
• Ensures that the daily workload is completed in accordance with company policies and standards.
• Perform driving duties, pick-up/delivery of containers
• Coordinates between all departments including maintenance and central dispatch to ensure the highest quality of service possible is being provided
• Conducts daily inspections on all company vehicles
• Evaluates equipment quality and availability on a daily basis
• Coordinates with the central dispatch office
• Reviews and/or investigates all accidents
• Attends all safety meetings
• Other duties as assigned
  • Moving other company trailers to jobsites
    • Some of the jobsites occasionally will need to be moved out of town in emergency situations
  • Assisting with other company duties and services as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug testing
• Ability to work outdoors
• Ability to asists on job sites as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
