The Department of Anesthesiology is recruiting a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide patient‑care and collaborative practice within a 600‑bed teaching affiliate of New York Medical College. The role includes working on the adult cardiac service line for those with adult cardiac pathway training.

• Provide anesthesia for pediatric cardiac surgery and associated procedures.
• Participate in patient evaluation, plan and execute anesthesia care plans.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, residents, CRNAs and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Engage in teaching, mentorship of medical students, residents and fellows.
• Contribute to scholarly activities and research initiatives.
• Serve on quality and safety committees within the hospital network.

• Board‑certified in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, or active in the certification process.
• Eligibility to obtain a New York State Medical License.
• Certification in pediatric cardiac (primary pediatric or adult subspecialty) training; alternate pathway and FMG options are available.
• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
