Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Reporting to the Chief of Legal Services, Attorney will provide direct legal representation (court appearances and legal/immigration proceedings) to victims of domestic violence in Westchester County.

• Provide legal advice and representation (family law litigation, matrimonial actions, custody & visitation, child support, orders of protection, and immigration).
• Conduct client intake and offer trauma‑informed legal advice, counsel, and (if needed) referrals.
• Manage caseload via continued communication with clients, court personnel, and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with the District Attorney’s Office, law enforcement, and other community agencies to advocate for survivors’ rights.
• Maintain accurate records and case files.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge, especially in domestic violence advocacy.
• Engage in outreach and collaborate with community partners to provide comprehensive support to clients.

• 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in family law, immigration or domestic violence‑related cases.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in New York State.
• Commitment to serving diverse communities with empathy and cultural competence, while providing trauma‑informed, client‑centered legal services.
• Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation.
