Job Summary:
Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Valhalla, NY. The RN will provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients following surgical procedures, ensuring safe recovery and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the PACU following surgery

• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to post-operative complications

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility standards

• Support patient and family education and comfort during recovery

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Pediatric surgical experience preferred

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
