Permanent position for RDH in Vallejo dental office. This is part-time for Wed from 8-5. #1409.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
- Educate patients on the importance oforal hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
- Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities inpatients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
- Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient(review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history isupdated for all returning patients
Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
