Radiology - Breast Imaging

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG) is one of the largest medical groups in the nation with over 9,000 physicians, 22 medical centers, numerous clinics throughout Northern and Central California. TPMG is exclusively contracted with Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. Employment with TPMG provides long-term stability with protection from corporatization and hospital contract loss.

In the Napa-Solano service area, we are seeking a motivated full-time breast radiologist to join our group of 6 breast imagers among a group of 24 diagnostic/interventional radiologists. This is a shareholder (partnership) track position. We perform the full gamut of breast imaging exams and procedures. (Tomosynthesis, Breast MRI, Cryoablation, Stereotactic biopsy, US breast biopsies) We closely collaborate with breast surgery and other breast cancer care specialists as part of our NAPBC-accredited breast cancer center.

• The position can be 100% breast imaging or combined breast and general radiology.
• 100% breast position comprised of breast imaging and procedures with q6 weekend screening or diagnostic shifts, but no general radiology weekend, nights, or overnight call.
• Combined breast and general radiology position comprised of predominantly breast imaging and procedures with interspersed diagnostic radiology daytime shifts. Weekend call responsibilities solely in general radiology including plain film, emergent cross-sectional imaging, and ultrasound, which are worked remotely.

• Fellowship training in breast imaging
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in diagnostic radiology
• Experience with all breast interventions, ultrasound, and MRI guided procedures
• Experience with tomosynthesis preferred, though not required

• 4-day (40 hour) work week with additional opportunities for internal moonlighting
