• Select, measure, cut, shape and join wood materials with nails, screws, and glue for building frames
• Add plywood sheathing and drywall to existing framework
• Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists
• Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound
• Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed

• 3-4+ yrs of carpentry experience
• Intermediate Math skills
• Able to understand and identify framing terminology
• Use power and hand tools and carpentry equipment
• Above-average job skills and productivity
• Read construction drawings and blueprints
• Able to inspect for quality performance
