Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Location: Solano Post Acute, Pleasant Hill, CA

Salary Range: $ per year

We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead and guide our nursing services team, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents. The role works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local standards, govern best practices for care delivery, and develop and revise care objectives.

• Assist in the leadership and supervision of nursing staff to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Support the DON in developing and revising care plans.
• Provide training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate care and oversee daily nursing operations.
• Collaborate with other departments for a comprehensive approach to resident care.
• Promote and maintain a culture of safety and quality care.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Graduation from an approved RN program.
• Current, licensed RN in the state.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long‑term care settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

• Previous experience as an ADON, RN Manager, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager.
• 3‑5 years of nursing supervisory experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
• Experience in a skilled nursing environment.
• RN degree from an accredited college.
• Experience with Point Click Care  (PCC).
