Job Type: Full-time
About the RoleThe Driver will be responsible for picking up customers/patients using a fully loaded vehicle equipped with a GPS system. This position may work independently or with another teammate based on driving assignments.
What You'll Do- Independently run medical transportation operations in a company vehicle
- Ensure patients are transported safely from their home to place of service (vice versa)
- Utilize company transportation software
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Assume on-call responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with leadership
- CA Driver's license required
- 3 years of professional driving experience required
- Clean driving record (No more than 1 point)
- Ability to successfully pass a drug test and health screening which includes alcohol, TB skin test and/or TB chest x‑ray
- Ability to pass a physical agility test
- Ability to lift/maneuver 50 pounds
- Fluency in speaking and understanding English, strong communication skills
- Ability to drive to various locations
- Ability to use apps and electronic devices
The pay range for this role is:
17 - 18.50 USD per hour (Solano/Contra Costa)
