Key Responsibilities

Perform monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate cost allocations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
Implement process improvements to streamline reporting and strengthen internal controls.
Mentor accounting staff and serve as a resource for technical accounting issues.

Core Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
5+ years of general accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, or Quick Books Enterprise.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively across departments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Location:

Valparaiso, IN (Central Time Zone)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 annually
